⏳ Time

Make time visible

Use a timer you can see shrinking, not one you have to check.

Tiny version

Start a visual countdown for what you’re doing right now.

Good for

  • You lose track of time
  • “Five more minutes” becomes an hour
  • Running late

Why it helps

Many people with ADHD struggle to feel time passing. Turning time into something you can see gives your brain the signal it doesn’t produce on its own.

The full version

  1. Decide how long this should take.

  2. Start a visual timer where you can see it.

  3. Glance at it: the shrinking colour shows time passing.

  4. When it’s gone, pause and decide what’s next.
